Important Information about the class
Our PE days are Monday and Wednesday - Pupils are able to wear their PE kit to school on their PE days.
Book bags and Homework diaries should be brought to school every day - Children should read at least 3 times a week. Homework diaries should be signed by parents and carers by the Friday.
Healthy Eating - Children in our class are encouraged to bring in their own fruit for breaktime and to bring in a reusable water bottle to use in the classroom.
Class Dojo points –The children get to collect class dojo points through the week for hard work or great behaviour. In Mynydd we have a class reward for the class total of Dojo points so earning Dojo points is very much a collective effort! If you haven’t already signed up to Dojo please do! The Dojo is a great way of keeping in touch if you have any questions you would like to ask me. You are also able to see how well you child is working in the class by checking the points they get each week.
Homework and learning logs - Pupils complete homework tasks in their learning logs. These are usually research tasks and children are encouraged to research in detail and present their learning in a variety of ways. This may include using computers and their work can be emailed to me. In addition, to this they are given a piece of Maths and English homework, also to be completed in the Learning Logs. Pupils usually have a fortnight in which to complete their tasks.
